Do you have a passion for helping others? We’re looking for parents who are willing to learn the ropes and volunteer as a parent advocate for other parents in their area. You’ll sit in on ETR/IEP meetings, counsel parents on their rights, and help parents navigate the education system with confidence and a little bit of tenacity. If you’re willing to show up for rallies or sit-ins, raise your voice to state officials and legislators about the problems in special education by writing letters, speaking before the State School Board, or even working an event booth to pass out information and rally support, we’re looking for you.
