Community Outreach

If you’ve ever heard the expression, “See a need; fill a need” then you might have some idea of what Make It Fit is really all about. Our focus since 2006 has been to make an impact where it counts the most – in our communities. Most people know that we provide ongoing services like the Cookies For iPads Program and Equine Therapy, but what you may not know is how hard we work to make a local impact. From very small requests to taking over a feed-the-homeless operation for a day (and delivering a literal trailer full of canned goods for future meals, blankets, gloves, socks, hats, and toiletries in the process) there isn’t a need too small.

Feeding the Homeless: Mission Possible Takeover

  • Our 'Mission Possible Takeover' volunteers. We brought a trailer full of canned goods, toiletries, blankets, hats, coats, gloves, boots, and other items to the Mission Possible group. They feed the homeless and hungry, including homeless veterans, in downtown Mansfield, Ohio every single day. Our 'takeover' goal was to provide as much help to them as we could in a single day.
